Whether you’ve been referred to MaineOrtho by you primary care doctor, the ER, or a friend you will receive registration forms in the mail, or you can download the registration forms right here at maineortho.com.  Either way, you’ll save time by filling out this necessary paper work in advance and taking it with you to your first appointment.

Upon arrival
If you anticipate needing help getting out of your vehicle or entering the building when you arrive at MaineOrtho, don’t hesitate to let us know. Our office staff will be happy to assist you. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our receptionist and invited to make yourself comfortable in our waiting room.

Meeting with your MaineOrtho specialist
You — and if you so choose, your family members — will soon be escorted to a private exam where you’ll meet with your MaineOrtho board certified orthopaedic surgeon, who will take the time to examine your injury or assess your ailment, then review your diagnosis and treatment options. Together, you will decide on a treatment plan that works best for you and your lifestyle, which will determine next steps.
