General Orthopaedic Surgery

Involves treatment of the most common orthopaedic ailments. This includes most sprains, muscle strains, and simple fractures, as well as back pain and joint pain. These problems can often be treated without surgery, although some injuries such as torn knee cartilage or a torn rotator cuff may require an operation. The surgeons at Maine Orthopaedic Center are all trained and experienced in the evaluation and treatment of general orthopaedic conditions, whether in the office, emergency room, or operating room.
